Conference: AIROM IV

The 4th AIROM Conference on “AI-generated Texts in Romance and Germanic Language Varieties” will take place at TU Dresden on 21–22 September, co-organized by InTraLing member Franz Meier.

We warmly invite all interested colleagues to attend. Online participation is possible upon request.

UPDATE: Special Issue – Call for Papers

Perspectives: Studies in Translation Theory and Practice has published the official CfP for the special issue Language Contact through Translation in the History of Romance and Germanic Languages, which will be co-edited by InTraLing members Sarah Del Grosso, Franz Meier, and Michael Schreiber.

Abstracts will be accepted through 15 May 2025.

The Call for Papers is now open, with an abstract submission deadline of May 15, 2025.

30 June – 3 July 2025

InTraLing members Léa Huotari, Franz Meier, and Mairi McLaughlin will chair a panel session at the 11th Congress of the European Society for Translation Studies, which will take place in Leeds in summer 2025.

The title of the panel is “The Changing Face of the Translation Studies/Linguistics Interface”, and the abstract for the panel can be found on Page 73 of the conference booklet.
